first of all, we are more than certain that everyone knows the basic rules of rp on ij. we expect that you come into this game with an open mind, and with the intention of being friendly, active, and dedicated to the game. we shouldn't need to tell you not to cross any ic/ooc lines, and to not cause any unwanted drama. your journal can be ooc or ic as long as it pertains to your character in some way! please note that extra letters, numbers, underscores, etc, are not allowed in your journal un. when seeking sls in pbads or other ad comms please use what's referred to as a "sock journal." in other words, do not use your actual character journal. that way we keep our gpsl exclusive and off of pbads. numerical journals are preferred, but as long as it isn't your character journal, then it should be fine.

activity is one of the main things that keeps a game running for a long time. updates should be done twice a month, in two different forms. something interactive, as well as something written. this can be in the form of a narrative, or by submitting a thread to the mods to show us that you are active and writing your characters. please also keep in mind that we intend to be a game that is focused on writing and plot, therefore we will be using a threading community. we miss old school rp and that is essentially why this community was created. however, participation in the group threads, and scening in the thread community, will be optional. we know not everyone is comfortable writing in public anymore, so we won't push this on anyone. but it is strongly encouraged.

to join, first you will need an invitation! as this is an invite only gpsl, it is strongly encouraged that you have a line with someone currently in the community before joining. you will also need some information about your character posted somewhere in your journal. since this is a gpsl, we're not asking for a novel, just basic information so we can get an idea about your character. acceptance will be based on both examples and characterization. we reserve the right to reject an application if we don't feel they'd be the right fit for our community. since we're invite only we're fairly selective, but we're not out right elitests. if we deleted your application and you would like to ask why, please ask us here.
